EXPERIENCE GREECE WITHOUT LEAVING COPENHAGEN
If you’ve ever visited Greece before, you’ll be happy to find familiar dishes such as moussaka, Greek salad and calamari on the menu, but we also recommend you try our varied selection of meze side-dishes that can be shared by the whole table or serve as a starter.
If it’s your first time getting acquainted with Greek cuisine, please don’t hesitate to let us know. We would love to give our personal recommendations to make sure you get the best possible introduction to Greek cuisine.
Greek cuisine is known for its high-quality, fresh ingredients and lots of vegetables, which means our Greek restaurant in Copenhagen is also suited for vegetarians and vegans.
RESTAURANT WITH GREEK/DANISH ROOTS
Cafë Patina is run by the Danish-Greek couple Stella and Erik Christiansen, whose goal is to share their passion for Greek cuisine with Copenhageners. Café Patina offers a variety of menus, including a romantic dinner for two or a fast menu for those who want to grab a quick bite before heading off to Vega, the cinema, theatre or one of the many other experiences Vesterbro’s cultural scene has to offer.
Our aim is to create a cosy, relaxed atmosphere where you can meet over a great meal and glass of wine, be it for a special occasion or just an ordinary Monday. Intimacy and cosiness are paramount, and many of our dishes have been simmering away for hours to ensure you get the best possible Greek dining experience with succulent, flavourful and tender meat.
Our Greek restaurant is centrally located in Vesterbro on a side street of Istedgade and near public transport such as the Copenhagen Central Station, Vesterport Station and Enghave Plads. If you are travelling by bus, you can get off at the stop Flensborggade, which is almost right by the restaurant.
